Annual Sports Meet

Annual Sports Meet was yet another significant event of our school. Mrs. Leena Venkatesh , Senior Principal , Jeppiar Group of Schools was the Chief Guest on the 8th of June, 2019. March Past which was always the highlight of the day was won by St. Anne’s House and Overall Championship by ST. Joseph’s House. Opening Ceremony and Mass Drill was undoubtedly a visual treat.

Kalvivalarchi Naal

July 15th- Kalvivalarchi Naal reminds every student of the life and achievements of Thiru. Kamarajar. The Tamil Literary Club portrayed the the life of this genuine personality through a thought provoking assembly. St. Anne’s House Feast was celebrated honouring the life of the great Saint. The Staff and students of St. Patrick’s House felicitated them with the portrayal of St. Anne’s life through an assembly.

St. Teresa’s Feast Day

On the 11th of October 2019, Day of Girl Child and the Feast of St. Teresa’s House was staged by St. Anne’s House. The students of std VIII enacted the life of St. Teresa and the students of class VII emphasized on ‘Girl Power’.

Fun Fair

Fun Fair was organized on the 10th of August 2019. Mr. Rajarathinam, Managing Director of RC Constructions was the Chief Guest of the day. The entire family of St. Joseph integrated in making this day a successful one. Lip smacking Food, adventurous games and thrilling rides made the day an extraordinary one.

Independence Day

It is indispensable to instill in our students, the future citizens of the nation, the patriotic fervor to lead thier country in solidarity. On the 15th of August 2019, Rev. Fr. Charles Gasper unfurled the Tricolor of our Nation and inspired us all with the Independence Day message.

Republic Day

The Republic Day assembly was staged by the students of Std VIII with the theme “Past, Present …. The way Ahead “. The children explained about the Indian constituency through an inspirational skit. Mrs. Swapna Nair was the chief guest of the day. Her fiery speech enthralled our students to grow into a good healthy citizen of the Nation.

Medical camp

The Alumni Association of our school deserves an appreciation for the noteworthy and remarkable contributions and support throughout the years. On the 14th, 15th and 16th of October they organized a medical camp which included Eye Check Up for the students of class 3 to class 7.

Children’s Day

On the 14th of November, 2019, Children’s Day was celebrated in the campus by the Management and staff of the school. Competitions like Clay modeling, Show and Tell, Pot Painting was conducted to tap their creative skills. We teachers grabbed this day as an opportunity to express our love to the children. Teachers entertained their students with graceful dance moves, inspiring songs and a skit which spread the message of, ‘Less mobile phones and more love’. The incessant love of the teachers and the explicit joy of the students made this day a happy one.

Diwali Celebration

Diwali - The Festival of Lights, highlighted our hearts in preparation for the celebration. The students of class IV staged an assembly stressing on the urge to celebrate on eco – friendly Diwali. Their song and dance added a sparkle to the feast.

Christmas Celebration

The students of the 5th standard exhibited a Christmas splendid assembly about the Birth of Baby Jesus. The choir captivated us with their soulful singing and the Nativity was brought to life at St. Joseph. Christmas carols filled the air with the spirit of love, joy and peace.

Pongal Celebration

On the 13th of January 2020, an explicit Pongal assembly was staged by the students of std VII highlighting the importance of farmers and the harvest festival of Tamil Nadu. The campus was decorated with sugarcane and colourful flags. Various games and competitions conducted for the teachers and support staff of our school marked the celebration with excitement and exuberance.
